Community Service

Our community is the driving force behind our stores. Our commitment to you has been our number one priority for decades. Whether it is providing quality fresh, local and affordable products or aiding local schools, churches and charities, Piggly Wiggly is here for you.

We support anything and everything in our community. We are the true, hometown Piggly Wiggly!

Piggly Wiggly had the pleasure of sponsoring the 2013 Spring Soccer Festival Finale. We ended up with 32 teams and had more than 350 players participate, and this number does not even include the families and friends who came to enjoy the event. The weather was fabulous, and the kids had a great day whether they were playing a soccer game, working on their soccer skills, hula hooping or dunking their favorite coach in the dunking machine.

"We do want to make sure you know that because of your generous support there will be kids who will be able to play in our league who might not otherwise be able to afford to play.  We know that soccer can be used as a tool to grow healthy, hardworking, stewards of our community, and understand the importance of being able to involve all members of our community in our league. Without your help we would not be able to forge ahead to achieve these goals.   We thank you for your continued support and for helping us make a difference in the lives of so many of these children." - Lee Lavette, Homewood Soccer Club
